Founded in 1995 by Valérie Schlumberger and now headed by her daughter Ondine Saglio, this Paris-based company strives to showcase the incredible craftsmanship of West Africa. With a focus on social responsibility, CSAO offers a stunning collection of art and pillows that not only adds beauty to your space but also supports the livelihood of West African artists.

We love the story behind the scene: a family driven, altruist, human story. We love the commitment of this label to quality, positivity and ethical decoration – local development, training and education. A story of women and their commitment to women, providing artisan workers in Africa with sustainable incomes.

Each piece is embroidered and made by hand and becomes a unique creation, the fruit of the know-how of Senegalese embroiderers who follow ancestral traditions.
